About The Event

About the 12-Hour Treadmill Challenge

Get ready to make a difference with the 12-Hour Treadmill Challenge, an inspiring endurance event supporting those affected by PTSD. On Saturday 1st March, Stand Tall For PTS invites gyms across the country to host their own challenge, with participants choosing to walk or run for 1 hour slots. With twelve 1-hour slots available, everyone can pick a time that works best for them.

Each participant is encouraged to raise between $100 and $500 (or more!) to fund essential PTSD support services. All funds raised will support Stand Tall For PTS and Red Six, two organisations dedicated to helping those living with PTSD. Stand Tall For PTS raises awareness, provides resources, and supports mental health programmes to assist PTSD survivors in their recovery. Red Six offers a groundbreaking app that connects individuals experiencing mental health challenges with support networks, fostering community and reducing isolation.

This isn’t just a physical challenge; it’s a reminder of the strength and resilience needed to overcome PTSD. Whether you’re going solo or teaming up, every step and every hour completed helps raise awareness and resources for a vital cause. Join us, stand in solidarity, and make a lasting impact in the lives of those who need it most.
