About The Event

About the 12-Hour Treadmill Challenge

Make a difference for PTSD survivors with the 12-Hour Treadmill Challenge, a nationwide endurance event happening on Saturday, 1st March 2025. Hosted by gyms across Australia, this inspiring event encourages participants to walk or run in 1-hour slots, raising awareness and funds for vital PTSD support services.

🏃‍♂️💙 NO GYM? NO PROBLEM! You can still take part! If there’s no participating gym near you, do the challenge solo from home, your local gym, or anywhere that suits you. Every step makes an impact!

Why Join the 12-Hour Treadmill Challenge?

•    Raise Awareness: Help shed light on the challenges faced by veterans, first responders, and others living with PTSD.

•    Support a Cause: All funds raised go to Stand Tall For PTS and Red Six, two leading organisations dedicated to improving mental health and PTSD recovery.

•    Stand Tall For PTS provides resources, raises awareness, and supports programs that assist PTSD survivors in their recovery.

•    Red Six connects individuals experiencing mental health challenges with a support network through their innovative app, reducing isolation and fostering community.

•    Flexibility: Choose your time slot or do the challenge at your own gym—perfect for anyone with a busy schedule.

How to Participate

1.    Sign Up for FREE: Register now to secure your spot at a participating gym or to complete the challenge at your own gym.

2.    Set Your Goal: Aim to raise between $100 and $500 (or more!) to support PTSD recovery programs.

3.    Get Moving: Whether you walk, jog, or run, every step counts toward making a positive impact.

This isn’t just a physical challenge—it’s a call to action. By participating, you stand in solidarity with PTSD survivors, highlighting their strength and resilience while contributing to meaningful change.
