The World Health Organisation has predicted that by 2030, Mental Health disorders will be the leading cause of illness and injury globally.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics national survey of Mental Health & Wellbeing (2020-21) estimates that 46% of Australians aged between 16-85 have experienced or will experience a mental health disorder during their lifetime – That is nearly 1 in 2 people.
AWARENESS ISN’T THE PROBLEM, THE LACK OF EARLY INTERVENTION ACTION IS.
We as a nation, are more aware of the Mental Health crisis facing Australians however the lack of ‘Early Intervention’ support means we have limited tools and knowledge on how to reach out before things get out of hand.
For decades the success rate of managing Mental Health and PTSD has been far too low and the suicide rate has been far too high. This event is aimed at trying to improve those unacceptable numbers.

They have contracted Mental Health or PTSD in the service of their country or at home with our Police, Fire, Ambulance and SES services
